Activities
Multinational Arabidopsis Steering Committee
Chair of the Proteomics Subcommittee (MASCP)
The proteomics subcommittee of the Multinational Arabidopsis Steering Committee was established to facilitate the coordination of international research in Arabidopsis thaliana in the area of proteomics.

Human Proteome Organization (HUPO)
Co-Chair Plant Section, Initiative on Multi-Organism Proteomes (iMOP)
The main objective of the iMOP initiative is to bridge a current gap between human and non-human proteome research. Technology advancement in species-oriented proteome labs would greatly benefit from a more seamless cross-species research.

Previous Activity
Frontiers in Plant Science
Field Chief Editor (FCE) - (2016 to 2020)
Specialty Chief Editor (SCE) - Plant Proteomics - (2010 to 2020)
In just a few years, Frontiers in Plant Science has become the #1 most cited and largest open access Plant Science journal.
During my time as FCE, I instigated quality checks and minimal standards to manuscripts. These changes resulted in the impact factor returning to 4.407 (2019) after dropping from 4.x's to 3.x's in the previous years.
